CADEL
The Support Center for Local Development (Centro de apoyo al Desarrollo Local, CADEL) is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 to assist and strengthen small farm communities and farmer organizations. Its goal is to promote the sustainable development of families and communities living in poverty and extreme poverty in the apurímac region, promoting an agroecological approach to agricultural and livestock production so as to attain food security, strengthening local capabilities to improve organization and the participation of men and women with gender equality, implementing profitable productive activities, and emphasizing environmental protection and the conservation of biodiversity.

ITDG

ARARIWA
The arariwa association was founded and registered in Public Records in Cusco on October 18, 1984, by a group of professionals (lay and from the Catholic Church) with extensive experience in promoting rural development and committed to the poor population of the rural Peruvian andes. Since then, we have worked in the provinces and/or micro-region of Calca, Urubamba, and in the past three years in the provinces of Canas and acomayo, in the Cusco region.

AEDES
The Specialized association for Sustainable Development (Asociación Especializada para el Desarrollo Sostenible, AEDES) is a non-profit organization founded January 14, 1994, which works hand in hand with low-income Peruvians and civil society organizations to increase knowledge about and management skills for sustainable development, promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurial capabilities through activities guided by gender, intercultural and generational criteria, with a vision of sustainable environmental management.
AEDES has five programs that are directly linked to its internal strategic development plan and designed to respond to its organizational goals: participatory development, sustainable agricultural development, water resource management, environmental management and organizational development.

CEC
The Community Education Center (Centro de Educación Comunitaria, CEC) in the highland provinces of Cusco was founded December 13, 2003, by a team with 10 years of experience working with the Catholic Church in the region. Since its founding, CEC has worked to strengthen local democratic mechanisms that give people a say in decisions about their future.
The CEC team's work in leadership training has led to new strategies and goals. This training has had notable results, as some of the participants now hold public offices, where they promote new forms of local government administration. The team has worked with 34 graduating classes, and a total of 1,050 people have completed the training. Some now serve as regional council members or hold other regional posts, while others, including a significant number of women and young people, are leaders in grassroots and community organizations, where they emphasize the design and implementation of strategic plans for consensus-based development.

CENTRAL ZONE
RAE – PERU
The Ecological agriculture Network of Peru (Red de agricultura Ecológica del Peru, RaE Peru) has 15 years of experience promoting ecological agriculture in the country. Founded in 1989, it is made up of 31 diverse organizations, and works at the national level with various activities such as conferences, events, training, dissemination of information, and the publication of magazines and books, providing assistance to thousands of Peruvian farmers.
The organizations that make up the network see ecological agriculture as a viable alternative for small and medium-scale farmers, whether they have just begun a transition toward this kind of agriculture or have been practicing it for a long time. In this process of shared learning, RaE has sponsored eight national conferences and more than 40 courses and training events, and has published five books and edited 14 issues of the magazine Cultivando, which is distributed nationally and internationally.

LABOR Center for Popular Culture (Asociación Civil Centro de Cultura Popular, LaBOR)
LABOR began working in 1981, providing services to miners in Cerro de Pasco. It later expanded its work throughout the province and the region. It is registered in Public Records and with aPCI, with Management Resolution No. 0101-2006/aPCI-GOC. LABOR is a private, non-profit organization whose goal is to promote social development throughout the country, but especially in the central region.
In 1994, the development of mining areas and urban zones became a priority, and LABOR began seeing new opportunities for debate, such as forums, seminars, courses, workshops and radio as ways for people to gain access to information and, above all, to participate.

Educational Services Outreach and Rural assistance (Servicios Educativos Promoción y apoyo Rural, SEPAR)
SEPaR was established as an NGO in 1987, and is registered in aPCI with Resolution No. 0305-2005/aPCI-GOC. Rural Coordinating Committee (Coordinadora Rural)
The Coordinating Committee of Small Farm Organizations and agrarian Institutions of Peru (Coordinadora de Organizaciones Campesinas e Instituciones agrarias del Peru), better known as the Rural Coordinating Committee (Coordinadora Rural), was founded February 20, 1992. It is a private, non-profit consortium that works for andean rural development, and is legally registered with the Technical Secretariat of International Cooperation of the Office of the President of the Council of Ministers.
For the past 14 years, its goal has been to promote development in rural areas of the Peruvian andes. It has varied experience (small farm economies, rural institution building, financial markets, education and cultural extension, and strengthening institutions), and the programs implemented by the consortium have produced significant results and learnings.

CIMAD

NCI
Nature and Culture International (NCI) is a US-based conservation organization founded in 1997, which began its work in Loja, Ecuador. Its mission is the conservation of biological and cultural diversity, promoting education in these areas. It began working in Peru in august 2004, with a project called “Local decisions, people's rights and sustainable management of natural resources in the dry forest (Ecuador – Peru),” better known as "La Ceiba – Pilares," with funding from the British government's Darwin Initiative and Community Fund, encouraging people to organize to plan their natural resource use.
NCI has experience based on work of the Peruvian ornithological association Pro aves Peru, which has done assessments of bird life in the cloud forests in the district of ayabaca, biological inventories and assessments of the use of natural resources in forests along the Loja – ayabaca border, and the preparation of a socio-economic assessment of the forest in Cuyas, as well as terms of reference for declaring that zone a private conservation area.

PIRWA
The PIRWA Urban-Rural Research Center (Centro de Investigación Urbano Rural PIRWA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983, whose mission is to contribute to the development of rural and urban organizations, promoting and enhancing their abilities and the exercising of their rights so they can propose actions and sustainable strategies for combating poverty in the region and the country.
Since 1994, the PIRWA Center has worked in dry forest areas, achieving significant changes in the knowledge and attitudes of beneficiary families through the use of a work strategy developed jointly with the people and authorities. PRO ALGARROBO
PRO ALGARROBO's mission is to promote sustainable development of the dry forest region on Peru's northern coast, improving the quality of life of people living in those ecosystems and working in harmony with environmental conservation and local governance, contributing to the sustainable development of the country. CENTRO ECO
The Ecology and Gender Center or ECO Center (Centro de Ecología y Genero, Centro ECO) promotes integral rural development with special emphasis on the environment, family and values. Its goal is to prevent and reverse desertification, deforestation and erosion and contribute to a higher standard of living for the rural population in areas with the greatest environmental deterioration and highest levels of poverty, through agricultural and forestry activities and processing of products, as well as the implementation of infrastructure and sustainable measures for environmental health.
The ECO Center has more than seven years of experience in rural development and has implemented three successful projects in the districts of Jayanca and Pacora related to environmental protection and productive conservation of the dry forest, working with small farm promoters and community participation. Together they have achieved the protection and conservation of 40,000 hectares of dry forest, an increase in biomass and the implementation of 100 productive livestock modules and 250 improved stoves. The organization's activities currently involve 17 villages with about 1,300 beneficiaries.

IMAR COSTA NORTE
The Institute of assistance for Irrigation Water Management on the North Coast (Instituto de apoyo al Manejo del agua de Riego, IMAR COSTA NORTE) was founded in 1991 to assist organizations of water users in managing the resource because the government was transferring responsibility to them. It was founded by public agencies and private organizations in Lambayeque, including the Regional agriculture Office, the Olmos Tinajones Project, Pedro Ruiz Gallo National University, CICAP, IDAL, CES Solidarity, the Professional association of Engineers of Lambayeque, the Netherlands Development Cooperation Service (SNV) and the Water Users Board of Chancay, Lambayeque. In 2000, it expanded into the field of economic development, seeking productive alternatives to water-intensive crops, solutions to the problem of increasing soil salinity, and the opening of markets, with proposals for organizational models for producers, mechanisms for linking with markets, participatory research and other activities. It currently works in three strategic areas: an institutional platform for analysis, debate and proposals; validation of technologies for production linked to markets; and capacity building for socio-economic stakeholders.

IPSO INKA
The Inkawasi Kañaris Institute for Social Promotion and Outreach (Instituto de Promoción y Proyección Social Inkawasi Kañaris, IPSO INKA) is a non-profit organization registered in Public Records in Chiclayo in 1996. IPSO INKA's mission is to work with leaders, community and grassroots organizations, educational institutions and municipal governments in rural areas, in coordination with NGOs and other local organizations, to promote the building of democratic institutions, civic action and opportunities for people to participate in improving their quality of life, the governance of their communities, and the planning and management of development.
IPSO INKA's strategic work areas are institutional, social and economic development. It also has eight years of experience in intercultural bilingual training for teachers and advising small farm communities and grassroots organizations on matters related to social and economic development. The team members are Quechua-speaking professionals who live in the area, which enables them to transmit knowledge and skills to participants in the zone where the project works.
